Genetic testing

I'm scheduled to see a genetic counselor tomorrow; I'll get my blood drawn and will know in about two weeks if I, too, carry the mutation. I'm nervous but thrilled to be moving forward with the process. I was denied insurance coverage for the testing from my HMO, but now that hubby has a gorgeous, shiny, accomodating PPO, I can be proactive about this and get it done, at last.
